Having control of your dog gives you and your dog more freedom
Behavior problems occur for many reasons. Sometimes it is good to know why a dog is behaving in a particular way, but it is much more important to know how to stop or change its behavior. Behavior problems rarely change on their own and usually get worse with time.
The vast majority of behavior problems can be conquered with rules, boundaries, and limits; another word for this is leadership. The way towards establishing leadership is through obedience. The Dog Squad will teach your dog (board and train) to submit to human leadersip, or we will teach you (private lessons) how to teach your dog that you are the leader. Dogs thrive on knowing what is expected of them and become much better citizens once they know their rules, boundaries, and limits. If you don't establish yourself (the whole family) as the leader , your dog will continue to run and/or disrupt your home and family. |
